Messages
Messages you can send
A short German message and a short French message, with the blanks to fill, for any of the eight trades.
Use the trade guide when you need the nouns for a roof, a boiler or a lock. This page is the covering note that works for all eight trades. Send German in Zürich, Basel and Bern. Send French in Genève and Lausanne.
German
Guten Tag.
Cordialement, [nom]
The blanks are your name, the trade, the address, one sentence on the job, and your phone. You are agreeing to a visit before a quote. You are not offering to pay a deposit in the same message.
What to attach
A photo of the leak, the board or the door helps. Do not send copies of an identity document to a tradesperson you have not yet called. Do not send your bank card. If the business asks for money before any visit, pause and read how to check a company.
Each trade page has a tighter message: roofers, plumbers, electricians, painters, locksmiths, builders, gardeners, cleaners.
