How to contact a builder

The builder lists are alterations and renovations (Umbau, Renovation / transformation, rénovation). A quote on these pages is something the business writes after a visit. Opening the list does not start a contract with Handwerker Schweiz.

• Baubewilligung / permis de construire — building permit, issued by the commune or canton, not by this site

The German building lists place a bathroom renovation in an orientation range of CHF 2,000–4,000 per m². That is not a quote from a named business, and it is not a cantonal tariff. Access for a skip, a shared stack, and whether the crane fits in the lane move it further than the city name.

You name the address, the kind of work, and the type of home, and you ask for a visit.

If the work removes a wall or changes the facade, ask the commune whether a permit is required before you agree a start date. A grant for energy work, if there is one, has to be filed before that work begins. See the building programme. Check the company in Zefix.
