What the site is

Handwerker Schweiz is an information site for homeowners in Switzerland and in Liechtenstein. It prints cost ranges, notes on grants, and contacts for local trades in 19 cities on the German, French and Italian pages. The English entrance covers eight trades in Zürich, Basel, Bern, Genève and Lausanne, using the same businesses as the German lists.

Visiting these pages, reading a guide, or calling a number on a card does not create a brokerage, agency or works contract between you and the operator. The offer, the visit, the work and the payment are only between you and the business you choose. We do not forward enquiries, we do not take payments, and we do not open user accounts.

Liability for content

The operator is responsible for its own content under the general law. Cost ranges, grant notes and calculator results on the other language pages are orientation or an estimate. They are not a binding offer and they do not replace a tradesperson, a cantonal energy office, or the authority that actually decides.

Liability for links

The site links to third parties: cantonal programmes, association pages, business websites. The operator of the linked site is responsible for that content. Pages were checked for obviously unlawful content when the link was added. Continuous review, without a concrete reason to think there is a breach, is not something we undertake. When a breach is pointed out, we remove the link.

Liability for directory details

Name, address, phone and email on a card are checked before publication. We try to keep them right. We cannot promise that every detail is complete and current at every moment.

If a detail is wrong, or the business wants the card removed, write to support@handwerkschweiz.com. A confirmed deletion is handled within 48 hours, including a new publication when the pages have to go out before the next regular update. A correction appears with the next publication after that confirmation. There is no online form. The same period applies to Switzerland and to Liechtenstein.

Texts we write, the layout and the structure of these pages are protected by Swiss copyright. Copying or distributing them for a commercial purpose needs permission first.

Logos on business cards stay with those businesses or the rights holders. Official names, statutes and public figures keep their source. Naming a source is not a recommendation by that body.
