How to contact an electrician

Electrical work that is fixed to the building needs an installer who holds an installation permit (Installationsbewilligung / autorisation d’installer). The Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations, ESTI, publishes the rule: esti.admin.ch. This list does not look the permit up for you. Ask for the number, and the name it is issued to, before a new circuit or a board replacement.

The German lists print CHF 85–150 per hour as the published national range for electrical work. Installation and the inspection are separate lines. There is no arrival promise on the card.

You describe the fault and ask which permit the work will be done under. You are not asking this website to confirm the permit.

In a block, the job often stops at the riser the management controls. Say so if you already know it. EIT.swiss on a card, where it appears, is the trade association’s name as printed. It is not a check by Handwerker Schweiz. Company names can be compared with Zefix.
