What this list is

The English pages are a short entrance for people who do not read German, French or Italian easily. They cover eight trades in Zürich, Basel, Bern, Genève and Lausanne. Each list is the same set of businesses, addresses and phone numbers as the German page for that city and trade. The other 14 cities stay on the German, French and Italian pages. Business profile pages stay in those languages. The link “Entry (German)” is that longer card.

What a card is not

• It does not describe the language used on the phone.
• It is not a recommendation, a ranking, or a check of the work.
• It is not a quote. Ranges on these pages are the ones already printed on the German cost notes, with the same dates.
• It is not a way to send Handwerker Schweiz a description of the job. There is no account and no forwarding.

How the names got here

The German about page says the names come from publicly available company and association information and from editorial checks. You can look a company name up in Zefix, the federal commercial-register index. Changing a card on this website does not change Zefix. Write to support@handwerkschweiz.com about a card. A confirmed deletion is handled within 48 hours, including a new publication when the pages have to go out before the next regular update. That sentence is the same rule as the German impressum, dated 8 October 2026.
